The Remote Access panel of the TV Server Configuration is used to define whether your TV Server can be accessed while you are on the road (i.e., remotely).

When you are away from home, your TV Server has to be located across the Internet. This can often be difficult, because you need to know the exact Internet address of your home Internet connection. These addresses are hard to remember, and often change dynamically, as they are reassigned when you power up your computer (or your cable/DSL modem).

To make this process easier, your TV Server communicates with MyTinyTV.com. Our web site MyTinyTV.com stores your TV Server's connection information, so your Pocket PC, laptop or desktop can easily connect to your TV Server. All you need to enter (on the Find dialog) is your email address and password. You defined these when you installed and configured your TV tuners using the TV Configuration Wizard and you can change these right here on the Remote Access panel.

Select the "MyTinyTV.com keeps track of your TV Server" option and MyTinyTV.com will keep track of your TV Server. The email address you registered here or in the TV Configuration Wizard is then used in MyTinyTV to connect to your TV Server:
