Once MyTinyTV is installed on your Pocket PC, Laptop or Desktop, you can start it to watch TV. MyTinyTV will prompt you for the Server name and Port number:

When using the Find... button, make sure to complete the Server Password field, as this information will be used to locate and connect to your TV Server.

If you are at home or on the road (and have Internet access) you can simply use the Find... button to let MyTinyTV determine the necessary information. Otherwise, if you don't have Internet access, you will have to determine the server information using your TV Server.

Find... Button With Remote Access

If you have configured your TV Server for remote access, you can use the Find... button. This will prompt you for the email address and password you used to configure your TV Server for remote access.

MyTinyTV will determine the TV Server address and port number automatically and connect you to your TV Server.

Determine The Server Address Using Your TV Server

If you can't use the Find... button, you can determine your server address with the help of your TV Server.

Using the TV Server's menu command Help > Using MyTinyTV, it presents a list of all possible server addresses. Most MyTinyTV installations will have just two possible addresses, with the first being the best and most likely.
