I have TCPMP installed on my Windows Mobile 6.1 device (Dell Axim X50v) but the option to use TCPMP is greyed out in MyTinyTV. Is there a registry setting that needs to be changed? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing both programs.

Maybe you have an older/newer version of TCPMP, which I haven't been able to test.
Basically, MyTinyTV checks whether TCPMP is installed by looking at the registry entry
LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apps\TCPMP The Core Pocket Media Player
The value InstallDir contains the path to the executable. MyTinyTV appends player.exe and tests whether the executable exists. If it does, then the TCPMP option will be enabled. Otherwise, well, that's what you got.

Let me know if your registry settings are there, maybe the executable is not called player.exe, etc. If it's a "new" standard, I'll see if I can update MyTinyTV to match. Of course, with TCPMP no longer being developed (and no longer free in its reincarnation), there probably has been little change in this area.

The registry entry I have is as follows:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps\TCPMP The Core Pocket Media Player]
"Instl"=dword:00000001
"InstallDir"="\\Program Files\\The Core Pocket Media Player"
"InstlDir"="\\Program Files\\The Core Pocket Media Player"

The executable is player.exe and "About" shows it as TCPMP Version 0.72RC1.

Looks like everything is as it should be.
Does the TCPMP option read "TCPMP" or "TCPMP (not installed)"?

on my tytn II the tcpmp option is also greyed out, it says that tcpmp is not installed, but it is. i have version 0.81. is there a way to solve this, tcpmp is much lighter than wm player mobile, and i would prefer using tcpmp.
